Stuff I print out gets sorted into three piles once I am done with it: stuff to be shredded, stuff that has useful paper on it that can be trimmed off before the rest is shredded, and stuff that can be put into the paper cutter whole and turned into scratch pads.
I make more of them than I am currently using, so thought I'd give the option to acquire the excess.
Potential bonus: snippets of draft writing, quotes collection, and other random text and tea notes on the back of the pages.
The size and number of pages will be noted in each, though they are usually 4x6 and in between 50 and 150 pages. The paper is mostly 20lb, though there are bits and pieces of heavier that appear from time to time. Fountain pens work, but one of the reasons I started using safe scrap to make these is that it is rare that one would be able to write on both sides with a fountain pen. Top-bound with a prong fastener.
